FAST TRACK

Five Day Instructor Training Program

If you ever wanted to have certification as an Instructor of Jeet Kune Do, but logistics and time was a major setback, this is for you. This new training program is geared for the highly motivated, experienced martial artist who has a desire to become a certified JKD Instructor. The JKD FAST TRACK course was developed for the person who is not able to participate in the typical training formats, i.e., weekly classes, camps & seminars, due to geographical or scheduling obstacles. But if you can allocate five days, and be willing to apply yourself in this intensive training, you can obtain your Instructor License from the Jeet Kune Do Association and Professor Gary Dill.

ALL of your training will be taught personally by Professor Gary Dill , one of the few original, 1 st generation JKD students from the Oakland school, and is the Director & Chief Instructor of the JKD Association. Prof. Dill has been in JKD for over 35 years and was on the Board of Directors of the former Jeet Kune Do Society. He is also the internationally recognized Grandmaster Soke (10 th Dan) of Bushido Kempo and Board member of the World Head of Family Sokeship Council.

You will learn the original JKD, the core, which was actually developed by Bruce Lee himself, and as it was taught at his Oakland JKD branch school, under James Y. Lee. This training will be as if you had stepped back into time, were standing in the garage at James Lee house at 3039 Monticello in Oakland, and you were learning JKD directly from James and Bruce. Learn the real JKD from someone who was actually there, Gary Dill.

This is “hands on” training……you must have a workout partner. It is recommended that you bring a martial arts friend or student to serve in this capacity.

Curriculum:

JKD punching / striking
Blocking
Kicking
Trapping Hands
Block & Counters
Entering to Trapping

Training will be held at the Tahlequah, Oklahoma headquarters kwoon. It is possible for Professor Dill to travel to your location at an extra cost plus all expenses incurred in travel, lodging, and meals. Student will fly into the Tulsa International Airport, with Tahlequah being 60 miles due east. Tahlequah is a quiet university town with nearby lake and river recreation at the foot of the Cookson Hills.

The cost of the course is all inclusive which includes all fees for Instructor License, Rank Certification, and five days of private classes in JKD taught only by Prof. Dill

The fee is for the course, so more than one student may participate in the private classes for an extra small fee, thus splitting the cost among each other.

Note: there is no cost for your workout partner (uke), since they are there to serve in your training and not participate as a student.

JKD FAST TRACK Course Fee: $4900

($1500 deposit (non-refundable) in order to freeze your time frame schedule for training, with the balance due prior to first day of training)

Note: If you are not interested in an instructor license or rank certification, but only want the training, that is also available. Also training can be customized for two days, three days, etc.
